where's that field? / by vanessa

Thank you to the coolest angel ever. Tonight I got this card in the mail, sent to the yoga studio at which I teach. The inscription is a Rumi poem:

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field.
I'll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase each other
doesn't make any sense.

Here's the card. The timing is impeccable.

Here's something about panther energy... I got it from this site.
"The power of the panther is the power of silence. It knows when to make its presence known and when to become invisible. The panther holds the secrets of unseen worlds and is associated with lunar energies. Within the darkness of night lies the truth of creation. Those with this totem hold knowledge of a galactic origin. They have a responsibility to care take this knowledge and caution must be applied when sharing it with others. When the student is ready the teacher appears. If the student isn't ready the information received could be detrimental."

The whole panther / energy thing may make zero sense to you. In Native American lore (and other cultures too) there's a theory that when animals appear they carry some message or meaning. Many people feel a connection with a certain type of animal (e.g. turtles) or notice the presence of a particular animal at a curious time. These are considered animal totems. Animal totems mean that there's some sort of support or message for you. You can think I'm loony or weird and fortunately you don't have to read.
